Ron is the host of the Public Affairs show, 'COMMUNITY VOICES’ on Old School 105.3 WOSF - FM and Praise 100.9 WPZS & 92.7 The Block - FM,  Charlotte. Ron is also an Assistant Production Manager for all three stations.

 

Ron is a former Co-Host, of 'IT'S MY TURN,' with Henry Hollingshead on 89.3 FM, ‘The Storm,’ Charlotte, NC.

In 2010, Ron completed an internship with the John Hancock Radio Show on News Talk 1110 AM - WBT.

Ron is a member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Access Corporation (CMPAC - Cable Access 21). Ron hosted LET’S TALK NEWS, a weekly radio show that aired on 88.1 FM, WYGG in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Ron's show aired for four years, ending in 2005 when he relocated to Charlotte, NC.

Ron is a graduate of the Carolina School of Broadcasting. The school provides education in all aspects of Radio and Television including: news reporting, news gathering, camera operations, linear editing; AVID Non-Linear editing, board operations, Adobe Audition digital audio, commercial production, imaging, copy writing, promotion and sales.

Ron is a former Reporter for three New Jersey newspapers; The Asbury Park Press (the 2nd largest daily newspaper in New Jersey), The Shoreview Weekly News and City News of Newark, NJ.

As a Reporter in New Jersey, Ron had an opportunity to interview a number of prominent names in American politics and social justice, including: former NJ Governor Christine Todd Whitman, Civil Rights Activist and former presidential candidate Rev. Al Sharpton, Professor Lenworth Gunther, the late Khalid Muhammad, the late New Jersey Assemblyman Thomas Smith, Congressman Donald Payne, Congresswoman Maxine Waters and then Sen. Jon Corzine.

Ron also interviewed a host of elected officials, civic and religious leaders and business professionals in the Monmouth County area of New Jersey. He also published his own Christian newspaper, Faith & Works News, which was distributed to 42 churches in the surrounding communities of Asbury Park.
